By 08:00 I can no longer force myself to sleep. The bus continues its course down a relatively straight highway. We've no idea where we are.

The bus arrives into Mexico City at 10:00, a couple of hours earlier than expected. We set off in taxi. After being away, Mexico City looks a whole lot dirtier and generally unpleasant than we remember!

Our plan is to spend a few days here preparing for the next phase of our travels. The trip we've just done has taught us quite a lot, as it was supposed to. It's also been extremely enjoyable - we've seen an amazing amount of things for only 10 days: Beach, sea, whales, canyon, snow, waterfalls, birds, cities, ... Stay tuned for the next chapter!
